But I can’t let the sleeping dog Lie because she is all kinds of CUTE!
In the morning before i leave for work, I throw her toys in her crate so she has the comfort of her toys…But I didn’t realize she was already in there. So I had myself a lil chuckle because I couldn’t find Mickeys head. (its underneath the white teddy bear above by the way) and when I snapped a pic…. she woke up. and this is what I think she would be saying if she could speak
“*snort* (because she snores!) whasat? ..who’s there?”

“Oh, its you….shouldn’t you be on your way to work, leaving me here all alone with these damned fluffy things?”
“No, dont pile them all over me! Can’t you see I’m tyring to sleep!”
“*sigh*, go ahead. take your stupid pictures….”
“can’t. fight. drowsiness….must. stay. awa- ZzzZzZZzZzz
So due to my impromptu photo shoot, I forgot to make my coffee and ended up visiting a street cart near the office for a cup a joe. I got a lovely european blend (or probably some maxwell house) in a 16 oz cup for $1! The vender made it in less than 20 seconds and it was perfection. A splash of cream with 2 sugars… and piping hot! yum!
Good friend of mine… or should I say bad friend of mine brought me a muffin from DD’s the size of a softball! The coffee cake muffin. FIVE HUNDRED TEN CALORIES! oMG!
Guesstimate: I ate about 475 of those calories. It was amazingly crumbly on top with nice lumps of brown sugar and cinnamon. And the guts were moist and buttery… i felt guilty a little too late though and nearly finished this thing. shameful.
Around lunch time I was grateful for the emergency lunch in my freezer…
Then I ate it and realized why i left it in the freezer for so long. The sauce was great but mixed with the other ingredients wasn’t that great. The rice was chewy in a bad way and then mushy after it soaked up all the gravy. The broccoli was edible but rubbery. Edamame was great and beef was okay. I know its frozen food… but i have had waaay better.
And who the hell put these on my desk???
Yes they are baked and what not but they are just too tempting… I had a few handfuls and the best part:
the Cheesy finger! My favorite pastime as a child was eating cheez doodles and then when I finished the bag, went to town on my cheesy fingers! Good times!
At dinner time I was DETERMINED to behave! And have something delicious and of substance. A salad was definitely in order! I washed my romaine leaves and set them aside to drip.
Chopped up some cukes and noticed a cutie was staring at me. Since she loves grass so much I figured I would let her taste a cuke to see if she liked it.
She didn’t like it. She LOVED it! So I gave her a few slices. She’s so cute, How can you say no to that face???While the lettuce was drying and the cukes were chilling, I defrosted some chicken pieces… because I vowed to never make dry chicken again. I sliced the chicken breasts in half to thin them out (they cook better this way) and spread them onto the hot pan and let them take their time on a medium heat. I made extra chicken so i can eat it with tomorrow. Once the chicken was fully cooked, I removed it from the heat and placed it on a cutting board to rest. Once it was rested, i sliced it. Yep, Definitely a moist piece of chicken. I plated it.
Dressed it.
And Ate it.
it was fab!
I didn’t save you any – so don’t ask.
But the chicken was moist, tender and well seasoned.
