Fiiiinally, its Friday!
And that means two things:
1. happy hour will commence at 5:30 pm Sharp and will go till Sunday. Weekend full of picnics and a birthday party for the old roomie (with a pimps and Hos theme… should be interesting)
2. The winner of the Stop and Shop Giveaway sponsored by MyBlogSpark will be announced in a quick second.
I want to thank everyone for entering. I already cashed in on mine and it was super sweet getting this giftcard. On that particular day I only paid $15 for my groceries! woo hoo!
And the winner is number 12, Doreen.Doreen said…
Following you on FB! Oh, and btw, that pizza looks soooo yummmy!!! Makes me want a slice or two or three!!
Doreen, email me your shipping info and i will have your giftcard sent to you!
I had totally forgotten to bring my new yogurt to work to try! Siggis was on sale and I wanted to try it out. This one sounds more promising that the Brown Cow… but i will let you know. I was grateful to have another goodie on hand that was so lovingly sent to me by carol. z bars. I love these little things! As a matter of fact, I need to make a trip to trader joes to stock up on those babies. awesome for eating as is or crumbling ontop of yogurt.
and she also sent some fitness water. According to the packet it contains as many calories as crystal light contained. my guess is that its more like a gatorade than a juice. I wasnt in the mood for anything super sweet so i used a quarter of the packet in my water bottle 4 times for a grape sweetness… an actual sweetness too- not like watery fruit water.
I changed up my usual shrimp salad and added a piece of steamed tilapia. Verdict: I like tilapia grilled better. Still ate the salad but will grill it next time. and Duh, avocados are amazing. especially with a sprinkling of coarse sea salt. MMM.
More broccoli than eggwhites- still soooo yummy! and 2 slices of arnolds sandwich thins. sprinkled parm cheese on the fritatta. So wonderful.
sealed the deal with cookie dough. I actually have been starting to look forward to this peanut buttery fudgey delight on days i work out! thanks for the recipe Mari!
the avocado in that salad looks sooooo delicious!
that frittata looks amazing.Your weekend sounds so cool- okay, if i was dressing like a ho (THEORETICALLY) j/k, I would wear a very short and tight low-cut black dress and red stillettos. I think. Haha…maybe a red dress? I don't know. I have never studied the fashion world of ho's…though I am dying to see what you end up wearing.
I presume "hos" wear some mix of fishnet stockings, pleather mini-skirts, corset tops, ridiculous heels and tons of garish make-up. I would be way too embarassed to wear that to a party, though.
I am so happy that you love protein cookie dough…try adding some sliced strawberries to it! it is so freshing!!!!! Have fun at the party! and remember "Pimps up and Hoes down!" ha
Congrats to Doreen! Wow, that's one hell of a happy hour – enjoy it! LOL I don't have a lot of plans for the weekend, but I am going to the Yankee game tomorrow afternoon. Other than that, who knows? I should probably cook something so I'll have something to write about next week! LOLHave a great weekend, Mo!
MMM tilapia! That's looks like a huge serving though!I think ho's wears tight dresses/skirts and low cleavage baring tops. Also, don't forget sky high heels. Think about what most girls where on Halloween. Slutfest!
Hi! Long time no post for me. I've been chasing my tail! Having been to a couple of such parties, I think it's fun to do a girly pimp look instead! Got a fedora, black wide leg trowsers and suspenders? Add a corset top and you're set! Hope you are well! Have fun and take pictures, no?
I'd go for fishnets and either a veeery busty short dress or a corset & short skirt!
Hos wear sexy high heels, big freaking earrings, thong baby, couple of bandaids;)
Thank you! I e-mailed you my info yesterday.
I have to get on it and try that cookie dough!Hmm….my guess for the party attire would be…not much? LOL. Maybe show a little cleave, or wear a short skirt? I have never been to a P&H party.
Maybe it's time I have one!
Congrats to the winner! Sook http://myfabulousrecipes.com
It sounds like you are in for an awesome weekend! Picnic with the parents…dressing up like a ho… I dressed up like a hooker for Halloween one year in high school (it was the "cool" thing to do…why do girls do this again?). I wore a tiny skirt, fishnets, and a corset-like top. It was ridiculous. FEEL THE BURN. (Re: you working out even when you're sore). We are going to have to do dinner again so that you can come over! For sure.
hope your picnic went fab-O girl
