I spend many weekends in my pjs, on my bed, watching food network. No sense in denying it. I love lazy sundays.

Sunny Anderson, Love her! She was on and had made a batch of Red Velvet Swirl Brownies. BROWNIES. RED VELVET. OMG. I had everything except the red food coloring… but i made it anyway. Makes for a GREAT pre Holiday Nibbler!

Sonny Says: Remove to a bowl and add sugar, vanilla, cocoa powder, salt, food coloring and vinegar, in that order mixing between additions. Whisk eggs in a small bowl and combine with warm cocoa mix. Fold the flour into the chocolate batter and combine lightly. Add walnuts and pour into prepared baking dish, saving a ¼ cup of batter for the top.DSC09447

Mo Diva says: Put eveything in the mixer and beat on level 2 till there are no more lumps…. Sorry Sonny, im lazy. DSC09448

For the cream cheese layer, blend together the cream cheese, sugar, egg and vanilla in a medium bowl. DSC09449

Gently spread cream cheese layer on top of brownie batter in the pan. DSC09450Dollop remaining brownie batter over the cream cheese layer. DSC09451

Using a skewer or the sharp end of a knife, drag the tip through the cream cheese mixture to create a swirl patter. DSC09453

Bake brownies for 30 20minutes. Remove to a cooling rack and allow to cool completely before cutting.DSC09454
